Scope of Work

With this InstallCard a professional installer will install and connect a Satellite Radio Car Kit to your factory or aftermarket car stereo. The kit will be mounted within your car using a VSM (vehicle specific mounting bracket). Installation includes the VSM, wiring the accessory power and installing the Satellite Radio antenna. The Satellite Radio typically uses a wireless (FM modulator) to connect to your car stereo. Some vehicles may require a hardwired FM modulator (sold separately). • On some vehicles you may choose to have the roof antenna mounted through a third brake light or behind a convertible top. The standard installation for most satellite antenna mounts is either on the dashboard or on the front of the vehicle roof.
• If you would like your satellite input signal to be wired directly into your existing radio with either a wired FM modulator or low-level input signal there will be additional charge.
• European cars (BMW, Mercedes, Audi etc.) and some exotic vehicles may need additional labor due to the complexity of their wiring.
